PetTrakr is a unique technology designed to allow pet owners to track their pet’s journey in real time. Pet travel by air has until now been a ‘behind closed doors’ experience for pet owners. PetTrakr provides assurance and allows pet owners to travel virtually along with their pet in real time.

Now available outbound from Australia on four major airlines to destinations worldwide.

 The PetTrakr device transmits at 10 minute intervals while on the ground and sends a photograph of your pet inside their travel crate, and the  GPS map location of your pet at that time.  You will be able to see your pet all the way up until the aircraft hold door is closed shortly before their flight departs.

In accordance with airline regulations the PetTrakr device will shut down to flight mode while the aircraft is in the air, at which point you will be able to track your pet's flight progress in real time via the FlightRadar24 website or app.

Photograph and map udpates will resume once your pet’s flight lands at their destination. The PetTrakr device will also be active and send updates every 10 minutes during stop-overs at transit airports on the way if your pet is travelling on multiple flight sectors.

Once your pet's trip is complete the PetTrakr device will need to be returned to us by placing it in the provided prepaid courier return satchel and dropping it to your local courier drop off point.  Your Device Return Deposit will be refunded once we receive confirmation of return courier receipt.

Moving a pet internationally is a complex operation involving multiple organisations (pet transport companies, airlines and government) and a resultant small mountain of paperwork.  We work with a number of pet travel companies in Australia with whom we will need to confirm the suitability of a PetTrakr for your pet's journey.  Once we have confirmed a PetTrakr booking with your pet transport company then we will invoice you for the final payment.
 
Ideally we require at least four weeks notice prior to your pet's travel date to ensure that we can dot the i's and cross the t's and obtain the required approvals.  At the time you request a reservation we require a AU$100 Reservation Fee.  If your PetTrakr booking cannot be accommodated by your pet transport company then we will refund the Reservation Fee to you.
 
Reserving a PetTrakr also means that we can allocate the device and ensure that it is provided to your pet transport company for attachment to your pet's travel crate at the commencement of their trip. 
 
Once all approvals are in place we will send you a message with further details and instructions on how to pay the balance which will be the Trip Cost plus the refundable Device Return Deposit minus the AUD$100 Reservation Fee already paid.  Final payment must be received, in full, by the latest 7 days prior to your pet's departure date. 
 
Once your pet's journey is complete  you simply need to place the device in its prepaid return satchel and drop it off at your local courier collection point. Please send us confirmation of posting. The return cost is included in the trip price. The full Device Return Deposit which will be refunded once courier return tracking is confirmed.
